Nothing causes me more anxiety than buying ink cartridges. Because I do all of my office work from home and I have a wife and two teenage granddaughters who like to print every pretty picture they see....I seem to replace Ink more often than I like.
So my question to all of my =OG= friends.....
Has anyone found a cheap place to buy good Ink?
Has anyone tried the re-manufactured cartridges?
Has anyone discovered a way to print without Ink?
Quite sometime ago I purchased a non-OEM cartridge. It printed alright but appeared to be only about half full........What's the answer to this torturous ongoing dilemma that we with printers are faced with? Please....Please....Help me! Huh...........sounded like the Beatles right there.
Thanks for any imput any of you can offer........

Wow, where to start Maine. I tried refilling bubble jets and toners, didn't work well. I got rid of the colour printer, cost way too much. We print our photos at Walgreen's.
I have an HP laser mono chrome-black printer for homework and important docs. That runs me about 100.00 bucks and last about year to a year and a half. I do have it net worked.
I usually buy my toner at Office Depot, but would like to find a more reasonable place to buy ink.

I bought an HP all-in-one that use these ink tanks.

They normally have a $10 rebate.
I found this to be the best bang for the buck!
Also, read the reviews on the Staples link above.
You seem extremely stressed, so I'm having the Doctor I work with write you out a prescription for Effexor (venlafaxine) 75mg. You will notice a difference in about a week. Are you allergic to any thing?
Cuz....

I have not bought an ink cartridge in about 2 years , I refill mine which works fine as long as you clean them properly
What make is your printer Maine ?
some printers have a smart chip on them and they need resetting if you refill them, like the Epson one below.
Epson (http://www.inkjet-direct.com/epson_uni_chip_resetter.htm)
I have 4 full sets and refill when I get down to 2

I have the Epson Workforce 600. I bought it mostly because of it's WiFi connectivity and that has worked well. It takes 4 individual cartridges. 1 black and 3 color. The color ones can be bought in a multipack for $45.00 - $50.00. The black comes in a high capacity version for about $30.00 or a standard capacity cartridge for $16-17.00. The black last me pretty good but the color ones seem to go fast.
Workforce 600 Multifunction (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Epson+-+WorkForce+Wireless+Multifunction+Photo+Printer/+Copier/+Scanner/+Fax/8948909.p?skuId=8948909&id=1215819593519)
In hinesight it would probably have been cheaper to keep my old HP all in one and buy a print server. The HP cartridges surely seemed to last longer.
Oh and CUZ, I am allergic to something............it's called bullssshh.....crap........so cut it out. It scares me that you know about all these different medications. Do we need to do a Vent intervention with you?

I have the Epson Workforce 600
This has the smart chip cartridge , to refill you would have to get one of THESE (https://refillbay.com/product/resetter-for-epson-ink-cartridges.php?CIC=qpksXemKDm1264023414)
Not been able to find instructions yet on how to do the cartridge but will keep trying
